Account Deletion Request
This page explains how to request deletion of your 3S PULSE account and the associated personal data we hold about you. 3S PULSE is an internal field-service application operated by 3S Americas, Inc. for use by 3S personnel and authorized contractors.
1. How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your account, send an email from the address associated with your account to:
Please include in your email:
- The full name on the account
- The email address used to sign in
- Confirmation that you wish to delete your account
We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete it within 30 days. If we cannot identify or verify the account, we will reply asking for additional information before proceeding.
2. What Will Be Deleted
When we process your deletion request, the following will be removed:
- Your account record (name, email, hashed password, team affiliation, role assignment)
- Your active session tokens (you will be signed out of all devices)
- Your push-notification device tokens (no further notifications can be delivered to you)
- Your daily reminder time and other personal preferences
- Local data on your device. Uninstalling the App removes any drafts and cached photos stored locally
3. What May Be Retained
The following information is part of 3S Americas' operational and warranty records and is retained even after your account is deleted:
- Submitted inspection records, repair entries, and field-service work products, including text content, photos, videos, signatures, and timestamps. These are business records of work performed by 3S on customer wind-turbine equipment and are retained as part of warranty, compliance, and operational history.
- Audit-log metadata: limited records of who submitted or modified an inspection (referenced by name as recorded at time of submission), retained for traceability of work performed.
- Records we are legally required to keep, for example records subject to subpoena, contractual retention obligations, or regulatory requirements.
Where reasonably possible, retained records that reference your name will be preserved as a historical attribution to the work performed and will not be linked back to a deletable account profile.
4. Retention Periods
Deletable account data is removed within 30 days of your verified request. Retained business records (inspections, repairs, photos, videos) are kept for the duration required by the underlying business relationship with our customers and applicable law, typically the lifetime of the warranty plus seven years, but may be longer for safety-critical records.
